Certainly a controversial direction for the band, but this album ultimately rests as my favorite from TTNG. The technical mastery of their previous albums is still present here along with some very thought provoking and philosophical lyrics. I may not always agree with the lyrical messaging, but this is an album which rewards careful listening.

Like all of toe's releases, this is an amazing album start to finish. Unparalleled vibes. I hear something new and interesting every time I listen through. This band is masterful when it comes to creating complexity and lushness via relatively simple parts.
